Side Compartments & Top Hose Bed

Straight boxes are incorporated into the steel structure on both sides of the bed. The compartment depth will vary with the type of Chaparral chosen. Each compartment will have one swing-up door. The swing-up doors are constructed of sheet aluminum and the compartment caps are aluminum tread plate. The compartments are the same length as the tank compartment. A hose bed above the tank is fitted with slatted, one inch pressure treated lumber to facilitate hose drying.
